I'm into a nostalgia trip since I saw the series when I was 13 and know that I'm 22 I found it again... :XD:

Well, I like it a lot. I prefer Saint Seiya, of course, but B'tX is a lot like Saint Seiya just set in a science-fiction world. I saw that Veoh has the series up, so you might take a look there if you like. :)

The story is basically about an evil machine empire that creates high tech and abducts scientists to help them. One of the abducted scientists is the robotics genius Koutarou, the brother of Teppei (our hero who looks a lot like Seiya).

Teppei tries to free his brother and has to fight his way through to the core of the machine empire. He is helped by X, a robotic Kirin (which looks like a mecha Pegasus) who originally belonged to Karen, a woman who fled from the machine empire 5 years ago and who trained Teppei to become a formidable warrior.

Sounds interesting. I did notice that the main character looks a lot like Seiya, but I know that Masaami Kurumada recycles character looks in his mangas...Is there a Shiryu in BTX?

Hm... A Shiryu? Well, I guess you could consider Ron a bit like that although he is more hot-headed. But his B't is a Dragon. :)
